Lessons to get excited about!

My name is Traci Minor, and I love teaching violin! I enjoy working with students of all levels - beginner to advanced, from preschool to high school. I teach classical violin technique imperative for beautiful playing in any musical style - classical, folk, fiddle, and pop. In addition to technique, my students will learn the performance and audition skills necessary for acceptance to youth orchestras and colleges.

I began playing at the age of five and continued through a Master’s in Music from USC. I am Suzuki trained, with over 30 years teaching experience in both private & group settings. I also have 20 years experience performing publicly in the greater LA area, including playing with the Santa Barbara Symphony & Opera, numerous chamber and early music ensembles, and many studio recordings.

I love teaching students of all levels, but I am especially skilled in working with small children.

I am passionate about  providing opportunities for my students to share their musical gifts with others through group settings and performances.
